Who We Are
Ducit Blue Foundation is the non-governmental (NGO) arm of Ducit Blue Solutions, a healthcare consultancy company with the vision to be a leading solutions provider in the healthcare industry, making quality service delivery and patient safety accessible to all across the public and private sectors, using an embedded approach. We develop capacity empowerment programs across Africa and our expertise cuts across patient safety solutions, strategies for combating antimicrobial resistance, research, and development, data in youth productivity, decision making, advocacy, and demand-based.

Highlight Of AMR Internship 2020-2021
Key Milestones
2021 & 2022
- Pioneered and successfully ran two cohorts of a Pan African Multidisciplinary Internship/Mentorship in Antimicrobial Resistance Research. This was innovative learning and capacity-building platform that saw interns and mentors from 12 African countries and 25+ organizations. (2020 & 2021)
- Our Youth Against Antimicrobial Misuse (YAAM) got highly commended at the Global Antibiotic Guardian Award 2021
- 2023–2024 Antimicrobial Resistance One-Health Pan-African Internship/Mentorship Programme: Cohort 3, implemented under the theme “Involving Youth in the Mitigation of Antimicrobial Misuse & Antimicrobial Resistance,” served as an innovative learning and capacity-building platform that engaged 20 interns and 18 mentors from 13 African countries and promoted multidisciplinary, One Health–driven collaboration to address antimicrobial misuse and resistance across Africa.
